Today, many top notch B-Schools in India offer specialization in different disciplines of business management. National Level Exams

CAT 2016
Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by the IIMs on the rotation basis. It is organized for admission in 19 Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and different B-schools situated across the country. Every year, CAT 2016 application form will be available from the month of August.
MAT 2017
All India Management Association (AIMA) is the conducting authority that organizes Management Aptitude Test (MAT) every year. MAT exam will be held four times in a year usually in the month of February, May, September and December. This exam is conducted through paper based or computer based test.
XAT 2017
On the behalf of XAMI, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) manage a national level entrance exam that is known as Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).  Candidates can get the XAT application form from the month of September 2016. After CAT, XAT is one of the famous entrance tests for admission in management programmes.
CMAT 2017
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance test which is supervised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  It is organized as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. CMAT is computer based online entrance exam whose application form will be provided from the November 2016.
GMAT 2017
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the main organizing body that organizes Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). It is a national level entrance exam which is held all the time (12 months) in a year. Candidate can register for GMAT only one time within a month & give the exam five times in a year.
SNAP 2017
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the university level exam conducts by the Symbiosis University. SNAP is held for admission in management programmes of constituent institutions under Symbiosis University. The online registration will be started from the month of August 2016. It is pen paper based exam.
CUSAT 2017
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is one of the most famous university in Cochin which was founded in the year of 1971. NMAT 2017
Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) or NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is postgraduate university level entrance test. NMAT is conducted by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC). This entrance test is organized to pursue MBA or other graduate management degree programmes in leading institutions those accept NMAT scores.
IBSAT 2017
ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad is the main conducting authority that managed an ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT). IBSAT is a university level entrance that organizes for admission in various management programmes offered by ICFAI University & all India’s ICFAI Business School. It is also called as ICFAI Aptitude Test.
ATMA 2017
Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conducts a national level entrance exam four times in a year that is known as AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA). This entrance exam is organizes in paper and computer based mode. It is held in the month of December 2016, February 2017, May 2017 & July 2017.
IIFT 2017
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade has an exceptional reputation all across the world for imparting management education. Delhi University Admission 2017

IPU CET 2017

AMU 2017

BVP CET 2017

KIITEE 2017

PTU Exam 2017
Punjab Technical University (PTU) is the most famous university of India. The University will not conduct any entrance exam. The admission into MBA programme will be based on the score of CMAT 2017. If candidate from CMAT are not available & the seats are remain vacant, then the admission will be made on the inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination.
MICAT 2017
MICA is India’s premier management institute which conducts its own admission test known as MICA Admissions Test (MICAT). MICAT is held for admission into PGDM-C course that is equivalent to the MBA. Only those candidates apply for this admission test who qualifies at least one of the national level entrance exam i.e CAT/MAT/GMAT. Online registration will be opened in the month of September 2016.
VMOU Admission 2017
VMOU Admission 2017 shall be administrated by the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University. This university organizes entrance exam for providing admissions into various UG, PG and other programmes in the field of management, science, computer application, etc.
AIMA UGAT 2017
AIMA (All India Management Association) organizes the AIMA UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) examination. It is a national level examination organized to screen candidates for admissions in BBA, BHM, BCA, Integrated MBA and many other courses.
IRMA 2017
Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand offers admissions to students into Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) and Fellowship Programme in Rural Management (FPRM). Admissions will be done through CAT 2016 scores/XAT 2017 scores.
DU JAT 2017
Delhi University organizes the DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) for providing admissions in BMS / BBA (FIA) / B.A. (Honours) and other programmes offered by DU. The university shall conduct this exam in the third week of June 2017.
ACET 2017
Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is a national level examination conducted by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). This examination is a gateway for those candidates planning to enroll as student members of IAI. The examination will be conducted two times in a year, i.e. May and October 2017.

Karnataka

KMAT 2017
Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is the main conducting authority that manages the state level entrance exam called Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT). Maharashtra

MAH CET 2017
Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra is the main organizing authority which organizes state level entrance exam called MAH CET. This entrance exam is conducted for admission in first year of MBA/MMS/ PGDBM/PGDM programmes. MAH CET 2017 will be organizes only through pen-paper mode in multiple sessions. Rajasthan

RMAT 2017
Rajasthan Management Aptitute Test (RMAT) is conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. It is a state level entrance test that is organizes every year to get admission into the MBA programme. Andhra Pradesh

AP ICET 2017
Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) is a state level entrance exam. It is regulated by the Andhra University in behalf of A.P State Council of Higher Education. VMAT 2017
Vignan Management Aptitude Test (VMAT) is common entrance exam which is governed by the Vignan University, Andhra Pradesh. Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) is a state level entrance exam. JMET 2017
Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is a state level entrance exam that is supervised by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. ATMA 2017: Registration, Exam Dates and Eligibility

AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is the national level entrance examination through which admission to the postgraduate management programmes (MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCM, etc.) is provided. It is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) four times in a year. ATMA 2017 Registration

  • The candidates can fill the application form of ATMA 2017 through online or offline process.
  • For online registration, the aspirants have to register themselves through the official website of AIIMS.
  • Provide your details like Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the On-line Fee Payment form.
  • ATMA 2017 Registration fee can be paid through debit card/credit card, net banking, bank transfer and by cash through FCC/Distributor.
  • Once the candidate has been successfully registered, the login credentials that contains user name and password has been sent to the candidate’s mail Id.
  • Now, activate your account and then proceed towards the filling of application form.
  • To avail the offline application form of ATMA 2017, visit the prescribed centres and purchase the form against the application fee of Rs 1100/-.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is mentioned below:
  • The aspirants must have completed graduation from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
  • The candidates who are in final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.
  • The minimum age criteria required for applying is 21 years.

ATMA Exam Pattern

  • The question paper contains 180 questions breakup in the six sections.
  • The total time allotted for the exam is 3 hours.
  • The paper based test may be attempted serial-wise but for online test there is no such requirement.
  • The question paper type of the exam will be MCQ having four alternatives.

There are three sections viz. Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, and each section is repeated twice. The time alloted to each section is 30 minutes.

Marking System

Each correct answer contains one mark. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be subtracted. No marks will be deducted for the question left un-attempted.

How to prepare for ATMA

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) does not recommend any course for the preparation of ATMA. The candidates can refer the sample tests available on the official website of AIMS for getting idea about the exam. The candidates can also take the regular aptitude test to improve the speed.

ATMA Syllabus

The syllabus of ATMA comprises of the questions from following sections:
  • Analytical Reasoning Skills
  • Verbal Skills
  • Quantitative Skills
Candidates will have to prepare from these topics, candidates should practice model question papers, in order to increase their speed in the examination.

Admit Card

All the registered candidates can download their ATMA admit card from the official website of AIMS by providing login credentials. Paste your photograph on the downloaded admit card and also bring one identity proof on the examination day along with admit card.

Result

The candidates can get their result online through the official website of AIMS. Enter your login credentials like your user name and password for getting the result. Hard copy of the test result has not been sent to the candidates.

ATMA Scores

The ATMA scores can be downloaded by accessing the official website of AIMS. ATMS scores report contains quantitative, verbal, analytical and total. These scores are based on the candidate’s raw scores obtained in the admission test. The score report also contains the percentiles scores. The scores are valid only for admission to the next academic year.

Admission

The scores of ATMA has been sent to the participating institutions in about three weeks in the case of paper based test and in about fifteen days in the case of on-line tests after the examination date. At the time of registration, the candidate’s have to indicate their choices for five institutes where his/her score has to be sent. The students are required to apply directly to the institution of his/her choice for admission.

IRMA 2017

IRMA 2017 – For admission to PRM 2017-19, IRMA will be accepting CAT 2016 or XAT 2017 score. Along with these, the candidates will be required to write a test on “Issues of Social Concern”. The application form to apply for IRMA entrance test 2017 has been released on October 1, 2016. The interested applicants can apply in both, online and offline mode. IRMA 2017 Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility for IRMA is as stated below:
  • Applicants must have a graduation degree from a recognized institute/university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • Applicants belonging to SC/ST/ DAP (Differently Abled Person), must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks at the graduation level.
  • The candidates should have studied for at least 15 years (10+2+3 years)
  • Students must also have valid CAT 2016 or XAT 2017 scores
  • Final year graduation students can apply provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria is fulfilled by June 12, 2017
IRMA 2017 Application Form: IRMA 2017 Application Form for admission to Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) 2017-19 can be filled through offline and online modes. IRMA 2017 Application Form is available from October 1, 2016. The last dates of offline and online application are December 23 and December 30, 2016 respectively.

Application fee: The application fee for IRMA 2017 for General & OBC candidates is Rs. 1200, while for SC/ST/DAP candidates it is Rs. 600. The entire application fee for candidates belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) will be waived off.

IRMA 2017 Exam Pattern: IRMA Issues of Social Concern is an objective type computer based test, which will have 40 multiple choice objective type questions. The duration of the exam is 25 minutes. The marks per question will be announced at the time of the exam. There is negative marking for wrong answers.

IRMA 2017 Admit Card: The registered applicants will receive their admit cards in the first week of February 2017 by post. The candidates can also download the hall tickets from the IRMA website from February 7, 2017 by entering their form number or roll number. No candidates will be allowed to enter in examination hall without IRMA 2017 hall ticket.

IRMA 2017 Selection Procedure: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their IRMA scores as well as CAT/XAT scores. The shortlisted students will have to appear group activity and personal interview rounds.

For the selection process of PRM 2017-19, the combined score will be considered. There may be separate cut offs for CAT2016/XAT20167 scores, ISC score and total score.

ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test popularly known as IBSAT is the entrance examination conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad. It is the prominent university level exam conducted at postgraduate level. It is organized for admission in the MBA/PGPM programmes offered by various ICFAI business schools. IBSAT is also well-known with the name of ICFAI Aptitude Test. The admission through this entrance examination is provided at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune campuses. IBSAT 2017 Application Process

The Application Process of IBS can be completed through Online and Offline mode. The IBSAT 2017 Application Form were made available from July 01, 2017. Candidates filling application form for IBS through online, have to visit the Official Website of ICFAI Business School or Official Website of IBS. For those opting for Offline Mode, have to purchase the forms from designated centres of ICFAI Business School or various marketing branches of Axis Bank located across the country.

How to Apply for IBSAT 2017?

Candidates filling the Application form for IBSAT 2017 initially have to go through 3 steps– Registration and Fee Payment, Online form Filling, Finish (Confirmation of Form Submission). These steps are discussed below in detail.

Step 1: Registration and Fee payment

The registration varies for the online and offline applicants. IBSAT Registration is the first step for appearing in the IBS Aptitude Test.
Offline Mode: Candidates can buy the Application Form along with prospectus from any of the IBS campus, any of the marketing branches or designated Axis bank branches. The Login ID and Voucher No. are mentioned on the packet containing prospectus. The Voucher no. is the password. The subsequent steps for completing the registration process are explained below.
  1. Visit the official site of IBSAT.
  2. Enter the Valid ID & Password and create a new password for the login ID.
  3. Click Ok and IBSAT 2017 Application Number would appear on the screen.
Online Mode: The online registration process for IBSAT 2017 is a simple 4 step process. Candidates have to visit the official site of IBSAT 2017 and then complete the steps discussed below.
  1. Fill Details: Candidates are required to create their own profile by filling all the necessary fields. The details include name of the candidate, date of birth, gender, nationality, permanent address, current address, email ID, etc.
  2. Review: The next step for candidates is to carefully all the information they have entered while filling the application form. In case of any wrong information, they should modify the details.
  3. Online Payment: In the next step, candidates are required to make payment of INR 1800/-. The payment for IBSAT 2017 Application form can be made with the help of credit card/debit card/net banking.
  4. Finish: The candidates need to click on ‘Finish’ to complete the IBSAT 2017 Registration
All the online applicants will receive a mail providing details of application number and password on successfully remitting the application fee for IBSAT 2017. The information bulletin for IBSAT 2017 will be dispatched within 7 days of the successful submission of online application form.

Step 2: Online Form filling

Offline Applicants: The Offline Applicants need to login with the Application Number and New password created at the end of step 1 (Registration). Candidates will be redirected to the new page where they are required to fill “IBSAT 2017 Online Application Form”.
Online Applicants: The online applicants need to login with the Application Number and Password received on the official id after registering online. On logging in, candidates will be navigated to fill “IBSAT 2017 Online Application Form”.
Candidates need to fill the details regarding Program & Past Academic Record (School/Intermediate, Graduation, Graduation Details, duration and Post-graduation /Professional Qualifications: (for PhD Applicants). The details to be filled in are related to Board, Year of Passing, Marks, Medium, Mode of Study, etc.
Candidates have to upload their photograph in .jpeg or .gif format. The size of the photograph should not be above 25 KB and preferably 140-160 pixels. The photograph should be a recent colored passport sized photograph with full face view.

Step 3: Finish

In the final step, candidates have to specify as to how they would like to apply for admission to IBS for the academic session 2017-18.
NOTE: All the GMAT (2015 onwards), NMAT by GMAC™ 2016, CAT 2016 score holders will be directly called for the IBSAT 2017 Selection Process along with qualifying candidates of IBSAT 2017 at IBS Hyderabad in February, 2017. To seek exemption under these categories, candidates have to mail the scanned copy of their score/certificate on email id ibsat@ibsindia.org.
Finally, Candidates have to click on “Submit” and they will be redirected to the login page. On logging in with their credentials, candidates will be able to see the details they have entered in their profile. They will be also to schedule the IBSAT 2017 test or provide GMAT® (from 2015 onwards)/CAT 2017/ NMAT by GMAC™ 2017 score.

IBSAT 2017 Application Fee

The Application Fee for IBSAT 2017 can be submitted via online payment gateway through Credit/Debit card/Net Banking (for online applicants) or through cash payment at the time of purchasing prospectus from Marketing branches of IBS business school as well as designated branches of Axis Bank. Candidates should submit the requisite Application Fee for completing IBSAT 2017 Application Process. The IBSAT 2017 Application Fee to be remitted is INR 1800/-.

IBSAT 2017 Slot Booking

Candidates have to select date and time slots to appear for IBSAT 2017 at notified test centers. All the test centers, date & time slots are available on the first cum first serve basis. The steps for slot booking are discussed below.
  1. Visit the official login page of IBSAT 2017.
  2. Enter the IBSAT 2017 Application Number and Password.
  3. Candidates have to provide the preference for IBSAT 2017 Exam Center from the drop down list for Test centers
  4. Select the city of your preference and fill the corresponding code in the blank space provided in the article.
  5. The next step is to select the date and time slot for IBSAT 2017. Only the available slots are displayed.
  6. Click on ‘Submit’ if all the details are correct.
  7. The IBSAT 2017 Admit Card is auto generated after submitting the choices.

IBSAT 2017 Admit Card

The IBSAT Admit Card can be downloaded after completing the IBSAT 2017 Registration and Slot Booking Process successfully. ICFAI will release the Admit Card on the Official Website of IBS. Candidates have to visit the official website of IBS for downloading admit card. The steps to download admit card are explained below.
  1. Go to the official link for downloading Admit Card http://www.ibsat.org/admitcard/login.asp
  2. Enter the IBSAT 2017 Application Number and Date of Birth
  3. Click on the link to download IBSAT 2017 Admit Card
  4. Download and take few printouts of the Admit Card for future reference
 
Candidates are advised to keep a valid photo ID proof along with them on the day of the exam. Some of the valid Id proofs are:
   Driving license
    Pan card
    Passport
    College ID
    Election/Voter card

The Official date for downloading the IBSAT Admit Card is yet to be announced. But, it is said that it will be made available from the Second week of December. The Admit Card will not be sent to the candidates through post or courier. Hence, it is advisable for the candidates to keep a regular check on the Official Website of IBS.

IBSAT 2017 Exam Pattern

The IBSAT 2017 is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The candidates have to take the test at the allotted computer systems at the 100-authorized test center. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the IBSAT Exam Pattern before starting with their preparation. The total duration of IBSAT 2017 is 2 hours (120 minutes). All the questions are in objective in nature (MCQ format).

In total, there are 140 questions distributed among 4 sections. The 4 sections are namely Verbal Ability (VA), Reading Comprehensions (RC), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Data Adequacy/ Sufficiency and Data Interpretation (DA/ DI). The section wise distribution of questions is mentioned below.

All the correct answers will be awarded 1 mark while there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. There is no time limit for attempting any sections.

Eligibility Criteria

Those who are satisfying the eligibility criteria of IBSAT 2017 can apply for the test. In this section, we have provided the complete eligibility conditions and are mentioned below:
  • The appearing candidate must have passed his/her graduation from a recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate along with English medium.
  • In case, if the candidates doesn’t satisfies the eligibility of English medium, then he/she have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2017.
  • Final year graduate candidates are also eligible to apply but the condition is that they have to produce the marks sheets and degree certificates at the time of admission and the last date for submitting the documents will be November 01, 2017 as the proof of eligibility.
  • It is necessary for the candidates to complete their education in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 10+2+4.
  • Those who have correspondence degree or part-time degree are not eligible to apply.

IBSAT Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of IBSAT 2017:
  • Type: Will consist of 120 objective type questions with 5 choices for every question.
  • Marks: Total marks are 12o.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given to right answer.
  • Subjects: There will be four subjects like; English Usage, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Sufficiency.
  • Language: The medium of the question paper will be English only.
  • Duration: The total duration of 2 hours will be provided to answer the questions.
  • Negative: There is no negative marking.

Results

The result will be declared by the authority on 6th January 2017. The candidates can check their result from the official website or from our website. To get the result, the candidates have to enter their application number and Password in the specified spaces.

Admission Process

The ICFAI University provides the admission on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in IBSAT entrance test. It also accepts the score card of CAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT for admitting the students in its associated colleges.

Selection Process

The candidates who have successfully qualified the exam will be shortlisted for the selection process. The selection process will be done at 8 campuses of IBS. The selection process will consist of group discussion and personal interview. For the final selection of candidates, candidate’s past academic record, his/her performance in PI and GD will be taken into consideration.
