AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is the national level
entrance examination through which admission to the postgraduate
management programmes (MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCM, etc.) is provided. It is
conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) four
times in a year. ATMA is the single window entrance test that measures
the candidate’s comprehension skills, verbal reasoning capabilities,
numerical reasoning capabilities etc. The examination of ATMA is
conducted in the month of February, May and July. The examination will
be held in paper and computer based mode. Get the complete information

- The candidates can fill the application form of ATMA 2017 through online or offline process.
- For online registration, the aspirants have to register themselves through the official website of AIIMS.
- Provide your details like Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the On-line Fee Payment form.
- ATMA 2017 Registration fee can be paid through debit card/credit card, net banking, bank transfer and by cash through FCC/Distributor.
- Once
the candidate has been successfully registered, the login credentials
that contains user name and password has been sent to the candidate’s
mail Id.
- Now, activate your account and then proceed towards the filling of application form.
- To
avail the offline application form of ATMA 2017, visit the prescribed
centres and purchase the form against the application fee of Rs 1100/-.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is mentioned below:
- The aspirants must have completed graduation from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
- The candidates who are in final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.
- The minimum age criteria required for applying is 21 years.
ATMA Exam Pattern
- The question paper contains 180 questions breakup in the six sections.
- The total time allotted for the exam is 3 hours.
- The paper based test may be attempted serial-wise but for online test there is no such requirement.
- The question paper type of the exam will be MCQ having four alternatives.

There
are three sections viz. Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal
Skills, Quantitative Skills, and each section is repeated twice. The
time alloted to each section is 30 minutes.
Marking System
Each
correct answer contains one mark. For every incorrect answer, 0.25
marks will be subtracted. No marks will be deducted for the question
left un-attempted.
How to prepare for ATMA
Association
of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) does not recommend any course for
the preparation of ATMA. The candidates can refer the sample tests
available on the official website of AIMS for getting idea about the
exam. The candidates can also take the regular aptitude test to improve
the speed.
ATMA Syllabus
The syllabus of ATMA comprises of the questions from following sections:

Candidates
will have to prepare from these topics, candidates should practice
model question papers, in order to increase their speed in the
examination.
Admit Card
All the registered candidates can download their ATMA admit card
from the official website of AIMS by providing login credentials. Paste
your photograph on the downloaded admit card and also bring one
identity proof on the examination day along with admit card.
Result
The
candidates can get their result online through the official website of
AIMS. Enter your login credentials like your user name and password for
getting the result. Hard copy of the test result has not been sent to
the candidates.
ATMA Scores
The ATMA scores can be
downloaded by accessing the official website of AIMS. ATMS scores report
contains quantitative, verbal, analytical and total. These scores are
based on the candidate’s raw scores obtained in the admission test. The
score report also contains the percentiles scores. The scores are valid
only for admission to the next academic year.
Admission
The
scores of ATMA has been sent to the participating institutions in about
three weeks in the case of paper based test and in about fifteen days
in the case of on-line tests after the examination date. At the time of
registration, the candidate’s have to indicate their choices for five
institutes where his/her score has to be sent. The students are required
to apply directly to the institution of his/her choice for admission.
