FMS Introduction
FMS, established in 1954 under the aegis of the Delhi University, is one of the oldest B-schools in India. FMS started of in the premises of the Delhi School of Economics. Later, the department of commerce of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), now the Delhi Technological University (DTU), was abolished and the Faculty of Management Studies was established. Currently, FMS offers the following programs: 
  1. Master of Business Administration - MBA (Full Time)
    • Two year, Full time, Postgraduate management program
  2. MBA - Executive (Evening Programme)
  3. MBA - Executive Health Care Administration (Evening Programme)
    • Two year executive programs
  4. Doctoral Programme
    • A full time doctoral programmeencouraging original research in various aspects of management. 
FMS Delhi despite issuing its MBA 2017-19 admission notification on September 6, 2016 vide ref. FMS/D-1077 has shied away from opening the application process which was supposed to begin in the last week of September, 2016 as per the announcement in the notification. The inordinate delay has caused a great amount of confusion among the FMS aspirants who are waiting anxiously for the FMS Delhi admission process to open.
There are thousands of MBA aspirants who despite scoring a very high percentile of 99 and above in CAT prefer FMS Delhi to number of IIMs. The highly ranked and high RoI B-school, FMS Delhi has announced that it would continue accepting CAT 2016 scores to shortlist the candidates for MBA 2017-19 batch.

Eligibility and Application fee
Only the test score of CAT 2016 will be accepted to register and apply to FMS Delhi.  The candidates applying for admission to the 2 Year Full-Time MBA must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent to CGPA, as per CAT 2016 requirement.

Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree examination may also apply. Applicants who have not registered and take CAT 2016 will not be considered for admission.

Applicants will be able to register themselves for admission to M.B.A. (Full-Time) and Ph.D. programmes through FMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration forms. The expected application fee for admission session 2017-19 is Rs.1000/- for each programme.

Instructions
·         Read the Information Bulletin and eligibility criteria carefully before starting your application process.
·         Applying for programmes for which you are not eligible will only result in your application being rejected & application fee will not be refunded.
·         After you have completed the Application and made payment, you will get a unique Application ID. Please use this ID in all future communications with FMS.
·         Students filling the Online Application can pay the application fee through online payment mode (Debit Card / Credit Card). Make sure you have the card details ready before starting the application process.
·         Candidates belonging to reserved categories should send self-attested photocopies of Caste/Category certificates along with the printed Application Acknowledgement Form.
·         You will need to upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature in the online application form. Image size should be less than 1 MB each.(No special characters allowed in the image file names).
·         All Foreign National seeking admission to MBA programme should apply through the office of the Depty Dean (Foreign Students), Conference, opposite Botany Depatment, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, India, latest by 28 Feb 2017.
