IES Manag. Col. MMS/PGDM Courses 2015



Indian Education Society (IES) is a century old educational conglomerate having 67 institutions in and around Mumbai. Masters in Management Studies (MMS):
MMS Programme of IES-MCRC has been Accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
This programme is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is run under its guidelines. The students are trained on the practical aspects of management using the course syllabus prescribed by the University of Mumbai.

Post Graduate Diploma In management(PGDM)              :
PGDM programme is a two year full time intensive course aimed at grooming students to become successful corporate leaders and entrepreneurs through a unique blend of academic rigour and experiential learning. We use contemporary teaching techniques which are a combination of case studies, role plays, simulation, presentations, quiz, contests, live projects and assignments to name a few.

PGDM programme consists of six Terms, of which three are in the 1st year and three in the 2nd year. At the end of the 1st three terms, students have to undertake Summer Internship project for 6 to 8 weeks. In the 1st three terms all the subjects are compulsory. In the 4th and 5th term, students have to take four electives in each of the term, along with compulsory subjects. The 6th and last term consists of only project work.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Health care and Pharmaceutical Management):
PGDM (HCPM) programme is a two year full time intensive course with a specific focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. This course is aimed at grooming students to become successful corporate leaders and entrepreneurs through a unique blend of academic rigour and experiential learning. We use contemporary teaching techniques which are a combination of case studies, role plays, simulation, presentations, quiz, contests, live projects and assignments to name a few.

PGDM (HCPM) programme consists of six Terms of which three are in the 1st year and three in the 2nd year.  All the subjects in all the terms are compulsory, except that students can choose one elective subject in each of the 4th and 5th term.  At the end of the 1st three terms, students are required to undergo a Summer Internship Project for a duration of 6 to 8 weeks.
