MATS Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (MATS), Bangalore was formerly MATS School of Business, was established in 2001, by the JGI Group, with the clear vision of creating Leaders, Managers and Entrepreneurs to manage world class Indian and Foreign MNCs or their own enterprises. Eligibility:
All the candidates who have completed any Under Graduate degree program can apply for MATS. They must have obtained minimum of 50% marks in Degree program for applying PG diploma course at this management college.
Admission:
  • Admission process begins in the month of February. All the candidates should appear for an entrance exam conducted by MATS to get admission. They conduct entrance test at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Mumbai and New Delhi.
  • Candidates who have already appeared for GRE/GMAT/MAT exams of AIMA are exempted from writing the entrance test.
  • The second phase is the “Group Discussion”, where body language, confidence level, language and communication skills, and interpreting ability are tested.
  • Next phase of selection is TOPS (Test of Presentation Skills). Here, the presentation skills, analytical ability and fluency of the language will be judged.
  • The final phase is the personal interview, where the candidates are tested for current knowledge about the industry and its happenings.
