Great Lakes Institute of Management invites One year full time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) and two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) for the academic year 2016-17. Great Lakes Institute Chennai PGPM & PGDM Admission Notice 2016 has been announced.

Details of the Program

PGPM

Post Graduate Program in Management - One year full time program for professionals with 2 plus years of experience; and one year fast track program for professionals with 2 plus years of work experience; approved by AICTE; accredited by AMBA, UK

For PGPM at Great Lakes, Chennai and Great Lakes, Gurgaon is independent

PGDM

Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Two year full time management program for graduates with 0-2 years of experience; approved by AICTE; accredited by AMBA, UK

Eligibility Criteria

For PGPM

All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT*/XAT +/CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management

For PGPM 2016, Great Lakes Institute of Mgmt will accept CAT scores of the year 2014/ 2015, XAT scores of the year 2015/2016 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2013 or CMAT scores of the year 2015/ 2016

All applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution

A minimum work experience of two years by 31st March 2016 is mandatory and candidates found not fulfilling this criteria will not be admitted. Candidates with less than 24 months of work experience by 31st March 2016 can apply to the Great Lakes PGDM Program

For PGDM

All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT*/XAT + /CMAT/MAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management

For PGDM 2016, Great Lakes Institute of Mgmt will accept CAT scores of years 2014/ 2015 or XAT scores of years 2015/2016 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2014 or CMAT scores of the year 2015/ 2016 or MAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2015

All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution

Fresher’s and candidates with less than 24 months of work experience as on 30th June 2016 are only eligible to apply (Candidates with greater than 24 months of work- experience are requested to apply for the Great lakes PGPM program)

There will be a special preference for College /University rank holders in terms of an extra weight age gained as part of the selection process

Evaluation Process

Applicants are evaluated based on GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT scores, past academic performance, essays, work experience and performance in the personal interview. The selection process builds in a criterion that facilitates evaluating each applicant on:

(a) Academic Abilities; (b) Standardized Test Scores; (c) Rank Holders; (d) Integrity and Ethical Values and; (e) Diversity of Background

Application Form

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to Great Lakes Institute of Management by completing an online form

Visit the website www.greatlakes.edu.in and fill in the online application form after making a payment of INR 1500/- by credit; or

Candidates seeking to apply to both Great Lakes, Chennai and Great Lakes, Gurgaon (Delhi NCR) through a common application may do so by selecting the appropriate option in the registration form and paying an application fee of INR 2250/- only

Make a payment of INR 1500/- at select vendor outlet centers (the list of vendors as well as centers is given in our website) and procure a coded number key for applying online

Purchase the application form from the Great Lakes Offices in Chennai and Gurgaon

The eventual application process is online for all candidates. The recommendation letter will be collected from the final selected students' recommenders and it must be submitted online
