M. S. Ramaiah College of Law Bangalore was established in
1995 by Dr. Late Sri. M. S. Ramaiah. The College is approved with Bar Council
of India and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli
(Karnataka). It added one more feather to the cap of M. S. Ramaiah Group of
Institutions.
Ever since its inception, within a short spell of time, the
college committing itself to the cause of quality legal education has made fast

BA-LLB
BA-LLB course duration shall be five academic years
consisting of ten semesters. Each Academic Year shall be divided into two
Semesters. Each Semester shall consist of 18 weeks.
BA-LLB degree in M. S. Ramaiah College of Law Bangalore is
awarded to those students who successfully complete the five-year course.

The Candidate willing to take BA-LLB Five years Integrated
Course in M. S. Ramaiah College of Law Bangalore he/she has to fulfill below
criterions :-
The candidate who has successfully completed Pre-University
course or Senior Secondary School course ('+2') or equivalent such as (11+1,
'A' level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course) from a recognized
University of India or outside or from Senior Secondary Board or equivalent,
constituted or recognized by the Union or by the State Government or from any
equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the government of
that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful
completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into the course.
Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall
not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45%) of total marks in
case of general category applicants and minimum percentage of marks in
qualifying examination shall not be below 40% (39.5% and above shall be treated
as 40%) of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
Maximum age for seeking admission is limited to twenty years
in case of general category of applicants and to twenty-two years in the case of
applicants from SC, ST and as on 1st June.

The intake for studies in law, under the jurisdiction of
Karnataka State Law University, shall be 120. The University shall reserve the
right to prescribe the number of divisions in each Law College or the
Department of Studies in Law. Accordingly maximum of 120 students divided into
two sections of 60 students each are admitted.
