Sinhgad College of Science, Pune was established in 2000 with an aim to provide holistic knowledge. The Government of Maharashtra recognizes the Sinhgad College of Science and it is affiliated to the University of Pune. The College practically exceeds all norms prescribed by the University, regarding space, lab size, lab facilities etc. and joint efforts are made continuously to improve the level of education. A very vibrant faculty that enjoys a rich professional experience with a sense of exemplary competence drives the college.

The Diploma Certificate is offered by IIT Mumbai on successful completion of the course.

Admission Procedure:

 Admission to Std. XI (F. Y. J. C.) is through centralized admission process. Students who have passed Std. X (SSC/CBSC/ICSE/NOS or any other equivalent examinations) are eligible for admission to F. Y. J. C. As per the merit and availability of seats. Admission will be finalized only after compliance of all the relevant certificates & documents.

Admission through Sinhgad City School Quota. Students who have passed Std. X from Sinhgad City School can take admission directly through school quota (20% i.e. 48 seats per stream). Escaping the centralization procedure.

 Admission through Management Quota. Some students can take admission in management quota.(5% i.e. 12 seats per stream) by taking permission from management of Sinhagad Institutes.

Documents required at the time of admission:

Statement of marks of S.S.C. or other examination considered equivalent by the Board having passed in minimum five subjects with English as one of them

    School/College leaving Certificate (duly countersigned by the education officer).

    Passing certificate of S.S.C. or equivalent examination

    Migration Certificate

    Domicile certificate

    Caste certificate / Validity / Creamy Layer (as applicable)

    ID card size photos of the student: 2 copies

    Certificate in the prescribed “Appendix A” of eligibility form of the board (for candidate coming from outside India).

BA LLB [Bachelor of Arts]

BA LLB is a five year degree programme. The course is an integration of arts and law. Any student who has completed 10+2 can join for this course. For the admissions, they have to qualify an entrance exam. There are many universities in India, which provides this course. The course includes the arts subjects and law subjects. It also had training sessions and research projects at the final year. The training consists of many practical sessions including the court attendance.
