Difference between Regular MBA and Executive MBA course

Although Regular MBA and Executive MBA are management programs in Business Administration, which turn the attention of aspirants from varied academic backgrounds, the modes of study are entirely different in both these programs. Regular MBA is studying the program in a regular basis having daily day classes and particularly aimed at young candidates. Graduates from any stream with 50% aggregate marks can apply for the regular MBA program. However, graduates having 1 – 5 years work experience alone can do the Executive MBA program. Professionals who wish to pursue MBA being in job can opt for the same. Various Universities provide evening classes for executive MBA aspirants.
Regular MBA course and career opportunities
Aspirants who complete the Regular MBA course most probably prefer for fresh public or private sector jobs. There are excellent career opportunities arising for these professionals day by day with the development of the economy. Most companies prefer regular MBA candidates as they may be having detailed knowledge in the technical subjects due to their study in a regular basis. As they have to concentrate only on the subjects, they can score quite better marks. Professionals, on completion of the course, can seek out for employments in multi-national companies or in any other private concerns within India or abroad.
Executive MBA course and career opportunities
Working Professionals pursue the Executive MBA course in order to get promotions to higher grades in their work environment. There are many Universities in India and overseas offering Executive MBA courses. As these professionals have work experience, they can apply directly for the topmost positions in companies. In a business sense, they can even start companies of their own.
Key differentiators between Regular MBA and Executive MBA course
Aspirants of any age group can pursue the Executive MBA whereas there is certain age limit for regular MBA students. Students pursuing regular MBA have to do the seminar and project representation as part of their course. However, there is no such activity carried out in case of Executive MBA in most of the colleges. The audience, delivery method and focus are all different for both these programs. Regular MBA is quite expensive when compared to Executive MBA. The time duration for both these courses is also different.
