How to fill in MBA Entrance
Application form
The application form will get
through online or offline by paying a DD of Rs. 500/- to Rs. 1,500/-(from the
official website or from the admission centres of different Colleges). The form
should need extra attention while filling and provide the official name,
contact details, age and other correct information. Don’t forget to paste the
recent passport size photo in the form. It is advisable to take the copy of the
form and fill that first helps in minimizing the errors.
MBA Entrance Exam Pattern
Each institute has its own written
admission test, like XAT for XIMB, SNAP for Symbiosis, etc. or part of a common
test like CAT conducted by the IIMs used by sever other institutes.MBA Entrance
Exam is mostly 2-hour multiple-choice tests, now institutions are going for
Computer based tests and online tests. The B- schools conducts test once a year
or in a periodic manner.
The Written Tests examines the
competency in
- Quantitative Ability -QA(include problems related to
Number Systems, P & L , Percentages, Averages, Progression, Work,
Speed, Geometry and Algebra)
- Data Interpretation –DI( Required to evaluate and give
precise information from Tables, Charts and Graphs)
- Verbal Ability –VA is a test of your English knowledge
- Reading Comprehension (RC)
- General Awareness/Business Awareness (GA/BA)
- Logical Reasoning –LR (examine the skills on Data
Sufficiency exercises, puzzles and deductive reasoning).
