This program aims to provide a
rigorous treatment of the theories of corporate finance, financial decision-making,
financial analysis and financial markets and institutions together with related
econometric and mathematical techniques. It allows students whose career
choices lie in the financial sector to develop their analytical skills and
acquire a body of knowledge which is relevant to a financial services career,
and be exposed to the frontiers of the subject.
The main objective of the program is
to equip students with the requisite knowledge and skills in financial
planning, decision-making and control along with equipping them with the
necessary analytic knowledge necessary for creation of innovative financial
instruments.
Post
Graduate Program in Management:
P.G.P.M. Management - Stands for
Post Graduate Program in Management. A PGPM is a two year postgraduate degree,
eligibility for which is an undergraduate degree in business management or
business administration. Subjects usually studied under this degree are
Principles of Management, Quantitative Methods, Managerial Economics, Financial
Accounting, Marketing Management, IT for Management, Corporate Communication,
Organizational Behavior, Operations Management, Human Resource Management etc.
Executive
Post Graduate Diploma in Management:
The Fifteen Months Full time Post
Graduate Diploma in Management for Executives (PGMAX) consists of 4 terms of 3
months each plus 3 months field base training. The program is a judicious blend
