The PGDM Retail Management course
aims at providing a comprehensive view of retailing, an analysis of the retail
environment and exposure to issues and developments in the industry. Retailing
is changing today, and the business environment demands professionals with an
ability to learn new skill sets, adapt and think out of the box. This
comprehensive training program provides the student with advanced theoretical
inputs and also the applications in the business.
MMS:
The Master in Management Studies
(MMS) program is a 2 year full-time post-graduate program, conducted at
Welingkar. On successful completion, the student gets an MMS degree of the
University of Mumbai.
The admissions are through a highly
competitive Common Entrance Test (CET) which is taken by more than 30,000
students all over the country. A rigorous GD and PI follow the test. Welingkar,
rated among the top institutes in Mumbai, gets its students from the top 150
successful candidates at the CET.
Eligibility:
A candidate should have either
passed with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate (40% in case of backward class
candidates from Maharashtra State) or appeared at the final year examination in
any Bachelor's degree course recognized by the Association of India
Universities to be eligible for Common Entrance Test (CET).
Note: The term 'aggregate marks'
used here means the grand total marks obtained by the candidate, taken together
for all the subjects, based on which the class declaration is made in that
particular University where the candidate is seeking admission.
