Justice K S Hegde Institute of
Management was created by the Nitte Education
Trust on July 4, 1998.
The Institute offers a two-year full
time MBA program recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education
(AICTE) and the Government of Karnataka and is associated to the Visvesvaraya
Technological University, Belgaum.
The Institute is also recognized as
a centre for guiding research. It is one among the very few AICTE-NBA certified
institutes and is currently in candidacy state of ACBSP accreditation.
The institute has been ranked among
the top 55 business schools by the Business India survey of 2012.
The Institute has been recognized
among the premier B-schools in Karnataka based on its performance in the field
of academics, consultancy and research activity.

The Program
The Institute offers a two-year MBA
program recognized by the AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. It is an
autonomous Institute affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University,
Belgaum.
The curriculum consists of
twenty-eight courses – spread evenly over four semesters. In addition, each
student will do a project work (8 Weeks) as part of the MBA program. A student
can specialize either in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management,
Information Systems, Banking & Finance or Retailing.
