MIT School of Management (MITSOM),
Pune was opened in the year 1987 to
impart value based education in the field of Management Science with the goal
of creating global leaders and entrepreneurs for the nation.
The institute has witnessed a
phenomenal growth in terms of quality and quantity, and has set itself a
mission to be amongst the top ten Management institutes in India.
The College has a wide variety of
academic and special interest groups that are supervised either by the
department or section heads [academic] or by the cultural committee formed by
the students. At the opening of the college, students have the opportunity to

Masters
in Marketing Management:
This is two-year (Four Semester)
full-time University of Pune affiliated program to provide to the country a
steady stream of competent young men and women with necessary knowledge, skills
and foundations for acquiring a wide range of rewarding career into the rapidly
expanding world of Marketing. The M.M.M. program is a mix of marketing related
and general business courses, which include the functional areas of Marketing
Management like Industrial Marketing, Marketing Research, and Consumer
Behaviour etc. The students are exposed to marketing development in the
environment with special emphasis on management for small and medium
enterprises.
Master
Of Business Administration:
This is a two year full time course
resulting in the award of the post graduate degree "Master of Business
Administration" by the University of Pune. The course is also approved by
AICTE.
Program Objectives:-
- To provide the country with competent young men and women with necessary knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to occupy positions in Management and Administration in Business, Industry, Public Services and the Government.
- To impart latest and relevant knowledge from the field of management theory and practice.
- To provide opportunities to the participants, within and outside institutions for leadership development.
