M.M.S. Management - Stands for
Master of Management Studies. MMS is a postgraduate degree spanning over two
years, minimum eligibility for which is an undergraduate degree in business
management of business administration. Subjects usually studied under this
degree are Management Principles & Practices, Operations Management,
Business Mathematics, Marketing Management, Managerial Economics, Organization
Behaviour, Financial Accounting, Information Technology for Management,
Communication Skills, Cost and Management Accounting, Operations Research,
Market Application and Practices, Financial Management, Human Resource

Post Graduate Diploma in
Management (PGDM):
P.G.D.M. Business Management -
Stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Management. A PGDM is a two year
postgraduate degree, eligibility for which is an undergraduate degree in
business management or business administration. Subjects usually studied under
this degree are Principles of Management, Quantitative Methods, Managerial
Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing Management, IT for Management,
Corporate Communication, Organizational Behaviour, Operations Management, Human
Resource Management etc.

Admission Criteria is CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, JMET, CMAT.
Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) / AICTE, as eligible for post graduate studies in management.
- Candidates who appear for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the AIU can also apply. Such candidates can apply for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree examination with the percentage of marks mentioned above.
- Candidates should have appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET) conducted by the DTE (15% seats will be filled by All India Quota) through CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ JMET (conducted by IITs)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by the AICTE) and should have obtained the requisite score.
